Passing by the strangers.

They say the eyes are a window to the soul, people forget we are our souls. An elder woman once said “Fall in love with your partner’s eyes” not their looks but their eyes. Eyes never age, just like your soul. Young or old, sick or healthy your eyes and your soul never changes. People forget that when strangers see us they could care less about your career, or your family they see you in that moment as you are. When someone passes by you, for that one small moment that is you. You may just be a face in a crowd, a mystery to a secret admirer. In that flash of a second that person has already seen you and they know nothing of you. You could be the busiest and most important person in your career but to a stranger you are just another person. Whether it is you are smiling and dancing in the rain or if you are crying in the car, even if you are frustrated at someone on the phone. That one moment is all the stranger will remember about you. They may not recognize you or even remember why you were doing what you were doing but, they will remember the action you were committing in the moment. When you pass by a stranger look into their eyes, you can fake a smile, but your eyes can’t hide anything. Your soul is who you are. Your body will grow old, and your mind will change, however your soul….the base and the center of who you are and what you search to find is truly who you are. Remember every little moment no matter how high up in the world you believe you are, or how low you are every little action of everyday counts. Not because of who could be watching but, our lives are so short that we forget the little moments.
