A country is a land with government. Politics imprison us, politicians and advertisement are pretty much one in the same. The way they tell us a diamond is rare and the way they try and make everything sound wonderful. They all have to have some backround in psychology, they all know how the brian works. It's already been proven they found the cure to cancer but, it's a mulitbillion dollar inductry so why the hell would they give us the cheaper version. Our food isn't real in America, our FDA feed us things that gives us sicknesses. Steroids in all of the meat, they mess with all of our vegetables and fruits, it's proven and I'm pretty sure everyone knows all of that by now. However, that is the way the system works. Children in CPS are utterly mistreated. If they act our or get in a fight they drug them up and make them sleep for 2 days. They don't intend on helping any of the children, I'm sure a majority of the workers do however. Anyone in that line of work will agree that the system is fucking screwed up. Juvenille systems are like prisons, no windows = no vitamin d which can lead to depression. On top of the fact that they are all treated like animals and moved from home to home so they are confused on life and how to live normally. This country needs to step up, and be everything we are supposed to be, Land of the Free... not just free from slavery but, free from fear, free from everday life wondering if tomorrow they will have food or shelter. Free from worry, free to be who they want to be, free to love who they want to love, free to go where they want to go. Home of the brave, home isn't just a building, home is where your heart is and where you go to feel at peace. Home of the brave, this should be a home for the people who aren't afraid to step up to a challenge, who are brave enough to be a leader, brave enough to lead a family and help people even when it may hurt their pride. Brave enough to be more than just a stranger passing through. "Land of the free, and home of the brave." "In GOD we Trust." those were the beliefs of our founding Fathers. We have strayed away from God, but when someone is sick or dying who do we automatically go to. If you believe or not, everyone goes to God. Not every story makes complete sense but, neither does any other story. We were founded on those beliefs and we were meant to be a Great Nation and be all we can be to our neighbors. "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." A neighbor is anyone, from your literal neighbor, to someone at the store, to someone on the side of the road. Love them the way you love yourself. That's where people get lost, they don't love themselves so it is hard to love others the way you wish to be loved. Learn to love yourself, do things you love and share your self love with strangers.
Government shows us what to fear, politics shows us why and how we should fear. Military shows us we are safe, the people show us community. Messengers, media show us everything wrong with our country. We are not just some statistic on how many die each year, I am not just a number on a population board. However to the media, and to the government that is all we are. We used to have leaders that would lay down their lives for their soldiers; they would fight alongside their comrades. Women that would run to the battlefield to help wounded soldiers, people riding horses for days to give medicine to nearby cities. Now people get weirded out if someone actually speaks their mind in a public place. At any restaurant or anywhere how do conversations go? “How’s your day?” “Good, you?” “good.” The fuck is that; tell me how your day is. Talk, we are human. We thrive on human interactions; we do not need to be hiding behind phones, computers, to talk to people. Everyone you see has no problem having a conversation, if you are awkward half of the population is too. Just have a social interaction.
We used to have brave and wonderful leaders, men that would sail seas, step up to their motherlands and tell them we are FREE. We used to be a great nation, where neighbors were friend’s. No one was weirded out to look at one another. Or too lazy to go out and actually meet new people, we all crave interactions; we crave for people to speak to us. It could just be a “how’s it going?” Or an actual conversation, if they’re a stranger goes somewhere public and gets to know them. How else do you expect to make friends, or any fun. We need our country to go back to when a brother would lay down his life for a brother, when the shirtless would be given a shirt. There are still wonderful people out there and media does make us see through a lens that isn’t true. This country used to be something great though. We used to be helpful, peaceful. People would never even consider hiding behind a screen judging people on their lives. People have grown soft and judgmental, what ever happened to mind your own business, if it doesn’t concern you leave it the fuck alone. If you aren’t making someone’s day better or the world a better place then leave it alone. Focus on yourself if you need to have some self-improvement but, don’t throw other people to the curb with one glance.
