Jamaica was incredible, the culture is so much fun and the food is to die for. The people are the sweetest people ever, the one thing anyone could get is marijuana. Everyone has it and music is everywhere. The country is extremely poor, their houses have no A/C, they are all quite thin but, they make the best of what they have. Their main industry is limestone, everything there is made of it, and it is their main export. They are willing to help anyone, and their drinks are homemade and FANTASTIC!! Mainly their Rum, is insane. There isn't really an age limit to drink so it's pretty much a free for all and they see Americans and they know we are always up for a challenge. I learned to dance, they will give you dreads for tips. What was really most fun was how welcoming they are. They are so kind, and just down for anything.
It was just nice because, they didn't really have much at all but, they are truly some of the happiest and kindest people. The beach was so gorgeous, and the food was just wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone down to earth, or a go with the flow sort of person. If you aren't go with the flow then maybe this isn't the place for you. Over all it was beautiful and we had a fantastic time!!
